Today Ms. White asked us to write about our favorite season. I love all the seasons. In Armenia, each season has its own beauty. Winter is wonderful, there is always a lot of snow. I also love making snowman and playing with snowballs. I also love spring because flowers start to blossom and we do not need to wear warm clothes. In the autumn, we start going back to school, leaves change their color and it gets colder.

My favorite season of all four is summer because there are a lot of fresh fruits and I have a lot of free time to play with my friends. There is a fun holiday in the summer called Vardavar (the water festival). But it is also very hot and sometimes you cannot go out during the day. I can eat a lot of ice cream, swim in the pool, and visit my uncle’s farm. The weather on the farm is not so hot and there is always something interesting to do. Last summer, I helped him pick apples and apricots, we made jam with Aunt Anush, and I ate the jam all winter. In the summer, there are many birthday parties, including mine. My birthday is on July 7. On my last birthday, we went camping with my family and slept in tents.
